Dickies & Palmer Trading Company Look to Chunky Vintage Workwear for FW16

Dickies has teamed up with Willy Chavarria‘s Palmer Trading Company label to create a rugged collection of vintage-inspired workwear pieces for FW16. Chavarria, who previously worked as a designer for Ralph Lauren before starting up Palmer Trading, worked with the Texan brand to create masculine clothing that has “the guts and stamina to unload a cargo truck as well as fly business class from New York to Tokyo.”

The assortment features modern styles including both wide-legged and narrow trousers, cropped lapel jackets and long shop coats with rinsed and rumpled Japanese and American milled fabrics. In keeping with the pair’s SS16 offering, it’s fashion forward silhouettes, only in much chunkier fabrics.
