KIIT References Retro Looks for Spring/Summer 2019
Japanese menswear label KIIT previews its forthcoming spring/summer collection with its latest lookbook. Designers Yujiro Takeda and Hiroki Ito, known for their expert tailoring, takes cues from mainstream trends during the ’80s and ’90s for its newest range of clothing. Incorporating familiar staples such as acid-washed jeans, striped button downs, khaki pants, oversized sweater vests and tattersall plaid designs, the collection gives a nostalgic nod to fashion’s past. To keep things interesting, the brand infuses some innovative details in the form of asymmetrical dresses, racer stripes and open-back shirts.
